AAMA Kit for Large Capacity Water Nozzle B-25

 

The B-25 Nozzles are of two piece construction with large tangential metering slots in the internal Disc to give a nonrestrictedflow with a uniform �Solid� distribution. Sizes from 3/8″ NPT to 3/4″ NPT are made from bar stock while larger sizes are castings. For special applications, a hollow cone spray can be produced from this same design. These Nozzles with high flow rates and coarser sprays are used in gas scrubbing, adsorption towers, brine spraying, and chemical and industrial processing.

Material: Brass is standard in sizes up to 3/4″ NPT. Also available in any machinable material. Sizes 1″ NPT. Also available in any machinable material. Sizes 1″ NPT and larger are Cast Red Brass but can also be ordered in Cast Iron or any other machinable cast material.

Spray Angles: 80� at 40 PSI.

Pipe Connection: 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/2″, 2″ NPT.

The AAMA Water Leakage Testing Kit is used for field checking of Metal Curtain Walls, Storefront / Curtain Wall Testing, Water Intrusion Testing, Forensic Water Intrusion Testing, Masonry Wall Drainage Testing, Wall Penetration Testing for water leakage in line with Test Specification Procedure AAMA 501.2-83.

 


 

AAMA KIT Water test kit includes:

Note: When carrying out the test increase water pressure slowly to prevent damaging the Pressure Gauge

Monarch AAMA Kit in India

 

1) An area will be specified for test, 2 bays in width and 2 stones in height. The Test Area should include all types of horizontal and vertical expansion joints or other conditions on a wall where leakage may occur. Any leakage will be checked from the �indoor� side.


2) Working from the exterior, the wall test section shall be selectively wetted progressing from the lowest horizontal joint upwards ensuring vertical joints are wetted also.


3) With the water directed at the joint at a Pressure of 30-35psi (approx 2-2.4 bar) the nozzle should be moved slowly back and forth at a distance of 0.3m from it for a period of 5 minutes for 1.5m of joint. While this is taking place an observer needs to check for leaks on the inside using a flashlight if necessary.


4) If no leakage occurs then the next 1.5m is wetted for 5minutes and so on until the entire test area is covered.


5) If leakage does occur the area needs to be identified, �re-worked� and allowed to dry and then re-tested.
